8.5.10 Washington]—–Congress voted a resounding no to the Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, which was aimed at providing healthcare coverage to responders who are now suffering various ailments as a result of their heroism on that fateful day.
On Thursday, July 29, most Republicans voted nay to the Bill, calling it “a slush fund,” and Democrats “over-reaching as usual.”
