bemused_leftistI Am Not A Chemist, but it's beginning to look like the polluters are just plain misrepresenting the CERN CLOUD experiment.
Iirc, someone at CERN said it "leaves the question open" as to whether cosmic rays/sun activity has much effect on cloud formation (and only in the upper altitudes if any). But it shows definitely that organic particles DO have an important effect (at lower altitudes); ie particles from plants and animals.
So look which side is claiming that CLOUD PROVES that human activity* has nothing whatever to do with climate change.
I've collected a lot of stuff on the CERN reports. Would any chemist be willing to translate a few quotes into, yanno, something comprehensible?
