I disagree with O'Donnell (and with Palin) on most issues, but I'm defending them as women unfairly attacked by the media.
Apparently c. 1999 O'Donnell (at age 29, having recently converted to Cathlocism) appeared on Maher's show as a guest commentator about 22 times. Now he's using film clips from that time (some of them never aired, and edited by himself) to try to force her to appear on his show again to defend herself.

[O'Donnell] has nothing to be ashamed of — except, perhaps, for going on Maher’s show so many times. He promises to release 22 more clips until she sits down with him in front of the cameras and brags, in typical TV chauvinist fashion, that he “created her” and that she “owe[s]” him.

O'Donnell says now:
“I was in my 20s, and very excited and passionate about my newfound faith. But I assure you, my faith has matured. When I go to Washington, D.C., it'll be the Constitution on which I base all of my decisions, not my personal beliefs,"
